# HFUN vs Drone Planet

The clearest difference is rating: HFUN at 3.2 against Drone Planet's 2.8. HFUN also leads on ratings volume (62 vs 10). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HFUN holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HFUN has 62 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of HFUN's written reviews are positive against 25% of Drone Planet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HFUN ships an update every 2 months, Drone Planet monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
