# Florida Pocket Maps vs FL Parks

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FL Parks at 100% against Florida Pocket Maps's 50%. FL Parks also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months). Florida Pocket Maps's advantage is price (Free vs $0.99) and rating (4.6 vs 3.7). On in-app purchases, monetization model, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Florida Pocket Maps is free to download; FL Parks costs $0.99 up front. Florida Pocket Maps sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 2 months and FL Parks sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Florida Pocket Maps holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Florida Pocket Maps has 136 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Florida Pocket Maps's written reviews are positive against 100% of FL Parks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Florida Pocket Maps ships an update every 2 months, FL Parks every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
