# MercadoEcono vs Bible

The clearest difference is rating: Bible at 5.0 against MercadoEcono's 3.2. Bible also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 7 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). MercadoEcono's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bible holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MercadoEcono has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MercadoEcono ships an update every 7 months, Bible every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
