# Lite Rite vs Ys2

The clearest difference is rating: Lite Rite at 2.3 against Ys2's 1.0. Lite Rite also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lite Rite sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Ys2 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lite Rite holds the better App Store score, 2.3 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lite Rite has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Lite Rite ships an update weekly, Ys2 every 10 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
