# MaxOne vs VertiMax

MaxOne and VertiMax both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 75% of VertiMax's written reviews are positive against 25% of MaxOne's. MaxOne's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VertiMax sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. MaxOne asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for MaxOne against 4.4 for VertiMax. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MaxOne has 199 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two.
