# AskNow vs Lisora

The clearest difference is rating: Lisora at 4.6 against AskNow's 3.2. Lisora also leads on ratings volume (284 vs 21). AskNow's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 11%) and in-app purchases (none vs 14). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lisora sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. AskNow asks for nothing beyond the download.

Lisora holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lisora has 284 ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of AskNow's written reviews are positive against 11% of Lisora's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AskNow ships an update every 4 days, Lisora every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
