# Focos vs Blurize

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Blurize at 93% against Focos's 51%. Blurize also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). Focos's advantage is ratings volume (51K vs 18) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focos sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Blurize sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focos holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focos has 51K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of Focos's written reviews are positive against 93% of Blurize's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Focos ships an update every 2 weeks, Blurize every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
