# reMarkable mobile vs PreIntent

The clearest difference is rating: PreIntent at 4.0 against reMarkable mobile's 2.8. reMarkable mobile's advantage is review sentiment (28% vs 0%) and ratings volume (500 vs 8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PreIntent holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: reMarkable mobile has 500 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of reMarkable mobile's written reviews are positive against 0% of PreIntent's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
