# MyUP vs Probability Distribution

The clearest difference is rating: MyUP at 5.0 against Probability Distribution's 4.5. MyUP also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1). Probability Distribution's advantage is ratings volume (15 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Probability Distribution sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. MyUP asks for nothing beyond the download.

MyUP holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Probability Distribution has 15 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MyUP ships an update every 5 weeks, Probability Distribution every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
