# Post Maker vs DualChat

The clearest difference is ads: Post Maker at none against DualChat's shown. Post Maker also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13). DualChat's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Post Maker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and DualChat sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Post Maker ships an update every 4 months, DualChat every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
