# Post Maker vs CrossTalk

The clearest difference is ads: Post Maker at none against CrossTalk's shown. Post Maker also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.1). CrossTalk's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Post Maker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and CrossTalk sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Post Maker ships an update every 4 months, CrossTalk every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
