# Antenna Point vs 93 The clearest difference is rating: 93 at 4.3 against Antenna Point's 2.8. Antenna Point's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 12 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them. Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay. 93 holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Antenna Point has 260 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of Antenna Point's written reviews are positive against 0% of 93's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about. Antenna Point ships an update every 3 months, 93 every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively. ## The numbers | Metric | Antenna Point | 93 | | --- | --- | --- | | Price | Free | Free | | Rating | [2.8 (260 ratings)](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/antenna-point/id1275602201/reviews) | **[4.3 (10 ratings)](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/93-5-max/id1404470380/reviews)** | | Number of ratings | **260** | 10 | | Positive reviews | **17.5% of reviews** | 0.0% of reviews | | In-app purchases | No | No | | Ads | **No** | Yes | | Update frequency | **Every 3 months** | Every 12 months | | Monetization | **Free** | Ad-supported | | Size | 23 MB | 12 MB | | Requires iOS | **12.0** | 18.2 | | Devices | **iPhone, iPad, iPod** | iPhone, iPad | | Age rating | 4+ | 4+ | | Developer | [Antennas Direct, Inc.](https://appshunter.io/developer/1255393379) | [Woof Boom Radio LLC](https://appshunter.io/developer/1203811286) | ## What reviewers say ### Antenna Point [App page](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/antenna-point/id1275602201) Easily aim your TV antenna with this app. It displays transmitting towers on a map, shows coverage areas, and helps you find the best direction to point your antenna for optimal channel reception.
