# Carter's vs Baby Planet

Carter's and Baby Planet both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Baby Planet's written reviews are positive against 67% of Carter's's. Baby Planet also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). Carter's's advantage is ratings volume (187K vs 1) and chart position (#156 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Carter's against 5.0 for Baby Planet. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Carter's has 187K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 67% of Carter's's written reviews are positive against 100% of Baby Planet's.

Carter's ships an update fortnightly, Baby Planet every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
