# HawkEyes vs USB

The clearest difference is review sentiment: HawkEyes at 67% against USB's 18%. HawkEyes also leads on rating (3.3 vs 2.0) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 13.0). USB's advantage is ratings volume (29 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HawkEyes holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: USB has 29 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of HawkEyes's written reviews are positive against 18% of USB's.

HawkEyes ships an update every 2 months, USB every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
