# Aboard vs FlyingOver

The clearest difference is update cadence: FlyingOver at every 5 days against Aboard's every 3 months. FlyingOver also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 71%). Aboard's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 3.8) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.2). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aboard sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and FlyingOver sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Aboard holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 11 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Aboard's written reviews are positive against 100% of FlyingOver's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Aboard ships an update every 3 months, FlyingOver every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
