# Aboard vs Flymap

The clearest difference is update cadence: Flymap at weekly against Aboard's every 3 months. Flymap also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 71%) and rating (4.5 vs 4.2). Aboard's advantage is ratings volume (12 vs 2) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aboard sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Flymap sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flymap holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aboard has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 71% of Aboard's written reviews are positive against 100% of Flymap's.

Aboard ships an update every 3 months, Flymap weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
