# Firenzecard vs Starhotels

The clearest difference is rating: Starhotels at 5.0 against Firenzecard's 4.6. Starhotels also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). Firenzecard's advantage is ratings volume (108 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Starhotels holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Firenzecard has 108 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Firenzecard ships an update every 4 months, Starhotels every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
