# PostScan Mail vs LETTRIX

The clearest difference is rating: PostScan Mail at 4.7 against LETTRIX's 2.8. PostScan Mail also leads on ratings volume (883 vs 13) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). LETTRIX's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PostScan Mail holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PostScan Mail has 883 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of PostScan Mail's written reviews are positive against 50% of LETTRIX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PostScan Mail ships an update every 3 weeks, LETTRIX every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
