# Psiphon VPN vs SMART

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SMART at none against Psiphon VPN's 3. SMART also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.6). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Psiphon VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. SMART asks for nothing beyond the download.
