# GetGo vs SHOP ’n SAVE

The clearest difference is ads: GetGo at none against SHOP ’n SAVE's shown. GetGo also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (17K vs 1.6K). SHOP ’n SAVE's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for GetGo against 4.6 for SHOP ’n SAVE. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GetGo has 17K ratings behind it against 1.6K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 13% of GetGo's written reviews are positive against 11% of SHOP ’n SAVE's.

GetGo ships an update every 6 weeks, SHOP ’n SAVE every 3 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
