# GetGo vs Duma Meats

The clearest difference is ads: GetGo at none against Duma Meats's shown. GetGo also leads on ratings volume (17K vs 1) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 7 months). Duma Meats's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Duma Meats holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GetGo has 17K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GetGo ships an update every 6 weeks, Duma Meats every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
