# cmplt vs Tiny Machinery

The clearest difference is ads: Tiny Machinery at none against cmplt's shown. Tiny Machinery also leads on review sentiment (54% vs 41%). cmplt's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (769 vs 45). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. cmplt sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tiny Machinery sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

cmplt holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: cmplt has 769 ratings behind it against 45, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of cmplt's written reviews are positive against 54% of Tiny Machinery's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
