# TouchLock BT vs StitchShot

The clearest difference is rating: StitchShot at 4.4 against TouchLock BT's 3.6. StitchShot also leads on ratings volume (384 vs 5). TouchLock BT's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StitchShot sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. TouchLock BT asks for nothing beyond the download.

StitchShot holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StitchShot has 384 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of TouchLock BT's written reviews are positive against 62% of StitchShot's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TouchLock BT ships an update every 2 months, StitchShot every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
