# Sofa vs Move Prep

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sofa at weekly against Move Prep's every 5 months. Move Prep's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sofa sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Move Prep sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sofa ships an update weekly, Move Prep every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
