# Sofa vs FirstSeed Planner

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Sofa at 3.1K against FirstSeed Planner's 2. Sofa also leads on device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). FirstSeed Planner's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and review sentiment (81% vs 60%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sofa sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and FirstSeed Planner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FirstSeed Planner holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sofa has 3.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 60% of Sofa's written reviews are positive against 81% of FirstSeed Planner's.

Sofa ships an update weekly, FirstSeed Planner every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
