# BottleDrop vs ICgovXpress

The clearest difference is rating: ICgovXpress at 3.3 against BottleDrop's 2.3. ICgovXpress also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). BottleDrop's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (104 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ICgovXpress holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BottleDrop has 104 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of BottleDrop's written reviews are positive against 0% of ICgovXpress's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BottleDrop ships an update every 2 months, ICgovXpress every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
