# Chapters vs Love Pass

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Chapters at 116K against Love Pass's 5. Chapters also leads on chart position (#29 vs unranked). Love Pass's advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 68%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chapters sells 20 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Love Pass sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Chapters holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chapters has 116K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Chapters's written reviews are positive against 83% of Love Pass's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Chapters ships an update every 6 weeks, Love Pass every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
