# Hotlap vs RaceLineCalc

The clearest difference is update cadence: RaceLineCalc at every 3 days against Hotlap's monthly. RaceLineCalc also leads on device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hotlap sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and RaceLineCalc sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hotlap ships an update monthly, RaceLineCalc every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
