# Alertable vs Prodigy Wildfire

The clearest difference is rating: Alertable at 4.7 against Prodigy Wildfire's 4.0. Alertable also leads on ratings volume (177 vs 4) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). Prodigy Wildfire's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 61%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Alertable holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alertable has 177 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Alertable's written reviews are positive against 100% of Prodigy Wildfire's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Alertable ships an update every 2 months, Prodigy Wildfire every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
