# Twinkl vs CENTA® for Teachers

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Twinkl at none against CENTA® for Teachers's 13. Twinkl also leads on ratings volume (2.6K vs 17). CENTA® for Teachers's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 62%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CENTA® for Teachers sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per year. Twinkl asks for nothing beyond the download.

Twinkl holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Twinkl has 2.6K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Twinkl's written reviews are positive against 75% of CENTA® for Teachers's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
