# Math Skills Builder Lite vs Writing Wizard

The clearest difference is rating: Math Skills Builder Lite at 5.0 against Writing Wizard's 4.4. Math Skills Builder Lite also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). Writing Wizard's advantage is ratings volume (5.2K vs 1) and update cadence (every 4 months vs every 19 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Math Skills Builder Lite sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Writing Wizard sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Math Skills Builder Lite holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Writing Wizard has 5.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Math Skills Builder Lite ships an update every 19 months, Writing Wizard every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
