# Power Planner vs Classify

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Classify at none against Power Planner's 1. Classify also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Power Planner's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (90% vs 76%). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Power Planner sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Classify asks for nothing beyond the download.

Power Planner holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Power Planner has 1.7K ratings behind it against 223, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 90% of Power Planner's written reviews are positive against 76% of Classify's.

Power Planner ships an update every 5 days, Classify every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
