# Power Planner vs Assignment Planner

Power Planner and Assignment Planner both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 90% of Power Planner's written reviews are positive against 57% of Assignment Planner's. Power Planner also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (1.7K vs 190). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Power Planner sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Assignment Planner sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Power Planner against 4.7 for Assignment Planner. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Power Planner has 1.7K ratings behind it against 190, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 90% of Power Planner's written reviews are positive against 57% of Assignment Planner's.

Power Planner ships an update every 5 days, Assignment Planner every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
