# Power Planner vs Assignment Tracker

Power Planner and Assignment Tracker both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 90% of Power Planner's written reviews are positive against 31% of Assignment Tracker's. Power Planner also leads on ratings volume (1.7K vs 102) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Power Planner sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Assignment Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Power Planner against 4.7 for Assignment Tracker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Power Planner has 1.7K ratings behind it against 102, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 90% of Power Planner's written reviews are positive against 31% of Assignment Tracker's.

Power Planner ships an update every 5 days, Assignment Tracker every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
