# Power Planner vs Assignment Tracker

The clearest difference is update cadence: Power Planner at every 5 days against Assignment Tracker's every 3 months. Power Planner also leads on ratings volume (1.7K vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Power Planner sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Assignment Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Assignment Tracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Power Planner has 1.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Power Planner ships an update every 5 days, Assignment Tracker every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
