# Madrsti vs Bites

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Madrsti at 100% against Bites's 43%. Madrsti also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and iOS requirement (15 vs 17.0). Bites's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (2.2K vs 11). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bites sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Madrsti asks for nothing beyond the download.

Bites holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bites has 2.2K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Madrsti's written reviews are positive against 43% of Bites's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Madrsti ships an update every 2 weeks, Bites fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
