# Catalyst AZ vs The Mint

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Catalyst AZ at 100% against The Mint's 64%. Catalyst AZ also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). The Mint's advantage is ratings volume (1.8K vs 11) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Catalyst AZ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Mint has 1.8K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Catalyst AZ's written reviews are positive against 64% of The Mint's.

Catalyst AZ ships an update every 2 months, The Mint fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
