# Split Screen Notes vs Split Screen

The clearest difference is rating: Split Screen at 4.1 against Split Screen Notes's 3.0. Split Screen also leads on ratings volume (84 vs 4). Split Screen Notes's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (33% vs 17%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Split Screen sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.49 per month. Split Screen Notes asks for nothing beyond the download.

Split Screen holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Split Screen has 84 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Split Screen Notes's written reviews are positive against 17% of Split Screen's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
