# Pet Cloud vs Passport Now

The clearest difference is rating: Pet Cloud at 4.8 against Passport Now's 2.6. Pet Cloud also leads on ratings volume (9.9K vs 33) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Passport Now's advantage is review sentiment (47% vs 28%) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pet Cloud holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pet Cloud has 9.9K ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of Pet Cloud's written reviews are positive against 47% of Passport Now's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pet Cloud ships an update weekly, Passport Now every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
