# MeasureMint vs Cliff Timer

The clearest difference is rating: Cliff Timer at 4.9 against MeasureMint's 3.5. Cliff Timer also leads on ratings volume (10 vs 2). MeasureMint's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 5 months) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MeasureMint sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Cliff Timer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cliff Timer holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cliff Timer has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

MeasureMint ships an update every 3 days, Cliff Timer every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
