# Secure VPN & Proxy vs VPN Proxy Master

The clearest difference is monetization model: VPN Proxy Master at free with in-app purchases against Secure VPN & Proxy's subscription. VPN Proxy Master also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). Secure VPN & Proxy's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Secure VPN & Proxy sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month and VPN Proxy Master sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Secure VPN & Proxy holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3K and 3K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Secure VPN & Proxy's written reviews are positive against 54% of VPN Proxy Master's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Secure VPN & Proxy ships an update every 5 weeks, VPN Proxy Master every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 22, 2026.
