# Barsys vs Make Me A Cocktail

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Barsys at none against Make Me A Cocktail's 5. Barsys also leads on review sentiment (65% vs 34%) and device support (3 vs 1). Make Me A Cocktail's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (2.3K vs 30). On price, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Make Me A Cocktail sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $5.00 per month. Barsys asks for nothing beyond the download.

Make Me A Cocktail holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Make Me A Cocktail has 2.3K ratings behind it against 30, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Barsys's written reviews are positive against 34% of Make Me A Cocktail's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
