# Barsys vs Pinter App

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Pinter App at 316 against Barsys's 30. Barsys's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.2 for Barsys against 4.1 for Pinter App. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pinter App has 316 ratings behind it against 30, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 65% of Barsys's written reviews are positive against 62% of Pinter App's.

Barsys ships an update every 2 weeks, Pinter App monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
