# NailBuff vs Wishlist Maker

The clearest difference is monetization model: NailBuff at free against Wishlist Maker's free with in-app purchases. Wishlist Maker's advantage is ratings volume (2K vs 70) and review sentiment (92% vs 79%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for NailBuff against 4.8 for Wishlist Maker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wishlist Maker has 2K ratings behind it against 70, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 79% of NailBuff's written reviews are positive against 92% of Wishlist Maker's.

NailBuff ships an update every 2 months, Wishlist Maker every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
