# SuperVPN vs VPN MAX

The clearest difference is ads: VPN MAX at none against SuperVPN's shown. VPN MAX also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). SuperVPN's advantage is ratings volume (3.7K vs 123) and review sentiment (75% vs 60%). On price, rating, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SuperVPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and VPN MAX sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $8.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for SuperVPN against 4.5 for VPN MAX. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SuperVPN has 3.7K ratings behind it against 123, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 75% of SuperVPN's written reviews are positive against 60% of VPN MAX's.

SuperVPN ships an update every 3 weeks, VPN MAX every 5 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
