# SuperVPN vs Cable VPN

The clearest difference is monetization model: SuperVPN at ad-supported against Cable VPN's free with in-app purchases. SuperVPN also leads on ratings volume (3.7K vs 726). Cable VPN's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SuperVPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Cable VPN sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for SuperVPN against 4.6 for Cable VPN. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SuperVPN has 3.7K ratings behind it against 726, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 75% of SuperVPN's written reviews are positive against 69% of Cable VPN's.

SuperVPN ships an update every 3 weeks, Cable VPN fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
