# PicSplit vs InstaGrid Pro

The clearest difference is rating: PicSplit at 4.8 against InstaGrid Pro's 1.0. PicSplit also leads on ratings volume (778 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 10 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PicSplit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and InstaGrid Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PicSplit holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PicSplit has 778 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PicSplit ships an update every 2 months, InstaGrid Pro every 10 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
