# Bunpo vs BB

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Bunpo at 72% against BB's 14%. Bunpo also leads on rating (4.9 vs 3.3) and ads (none vs shown). BB's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bunpo sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and BB sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bunpo holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bunpo has 18K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 72% of Bunpo's written reviews are positive against 14% of BB's.

Bunpo ships an update every 9 days, BB fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
