# ICGC vs CommonYard

The clearest difference is rating: CommonYard at 5.0 against ICGC's 3.6. CommonYard also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). ICGC's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CommonYard holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ICGC has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
