# Veo vs dart scooters

Veo and dart scooters both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 81% of dart scooters's written reviews are positive against 37% of Veo's. Veo's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Veo against 4.8 for dart scooters. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Veo has 131K ratings behind it against 587, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 37% of Veo's written reviews are positive against 81% of dart scooters's.

Veo ships an update weekly, dart scooters every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
